"The most reliable way to predict the future is to create it!" It is college application time for the Seniors in Hillsboro! They are currently writing personal statements/essays in English 12 that can be used for college admissions, scholarships, and/or job applications. As part of the unit, Maggie Landsinger, the Regional Admission Advisor for Richland, Baraboo Sauk County and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, visited and gave a presentation on the do's and don'ts of college applications and essays. "To Be, Or Not to Be..." October is the perfect month to start William Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet. After all, the play is a ghost story! 👻 Ms. Madden decorated her classroom, broke out the skull, and blasted some renaissance/baroque period music!
