District librarian Teresa Krajco's Book Tasting offered students in Mrs. Michalek's classes had an opportunity to build their literary palate.
Students make rounds between café hosting distinct genres of literature and are served a variety of titles to try. The event is curated to introduce students to new books and genres that they might enjoy, and build their investment in, and comprehension of, complex texts.
Along with the titles, students are offered drinks from a hot chocolate bar to elevate the experience.
