On Thursday, November 9th, select choir students from the Little River's Music Conference (Hillsboro, New Lisbon, Royall, Weston & Wonewoc-Center) gathered at Royall HS for the All-Conference Honors Choir. All-Conference Honors Choir is held every other year, and features select choir members chosen based on their musical skill, leadership, and dedication to musical performance. Students practiced 5 pieces throughout the day with guest director Mark Potvin, Assistant Professor of Music at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. At the end of the day, students performed the pieces in a concert that was open to the public.
It was a great day for making music, with our Hillsboro Tigers turning in a magnificent performance and representing the district with distinction.
