Students demonstrate yoga poses

In Ms. Cauley's classes, Mindful Mondays give students an opportunity to learn about healthy and proactive ways to de-stress and increase emotional regulation.

There is a preponderance of data to support both the physical and psychological benefits of a mindfulness practice, and Ms. Cauley has been introducing students to those advantages each Monday.

Children have been learning skills and practices designed to increase memory, compassion, focus, self-acceptance, self-awareness, and the ability to resolve daily challenges more successfully.
