Hillsboro 4th-grade classes traveled to the historic heart of Madison to visit the Capitol building. Students learned about the building's grand history and explored Interactive exhibits that brought the different branches of government to life.
Next, they journeyed to the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, where students were able to learn about the ordinary people who made history and examine the temporary and permanent exhibits.
Students left Madison with a strengthened understanding of the past and a new appreciation for the current work that goes into state governance.
