Forensics

The Hillsboro High School Forensics team kicked off their season with a strong showing at the Sub-district tournament on February 12th. Eight students impressed judges with their skills, advancing to the District level in March.

Parker Skala wowed the audience with his impromptu speaking skills, while Lauren Auel, Raegon Stanek, and Kyleigh Anderson captivated judges with their prose pieces. Savannah Pooley, Delana Hill, and Raeleigh Anderson brought poetry to life, and the trio of Brett Salisbury, Gillian Novacheck, and Kate Holthe delivered a powerful play-acting performance.

Emma McGraw (radio news reporting) and Jaylee Larson (solo acting) will showcase their talents via video submissions, also vying for District advancement.

These talented students will continue to prepare for the District tournament in March, aiming to earn a spot at the State competition.
