This past Monday, March 11th, Hillsboro Middle School Battle of the Books teams faced off against students from neighboring schools at the Viroqua Public Library. After a series of four intense reading challenges, the 8th-grade team emerged victorious, battling their way to the championship round.
There, they faced tough competition from LaFarge and Bangor, ultimately taking home an impressive second-place finish. Huge congratulations to both the 8th and 6th-grade teams for their dedication and hard work throughout the competition year!
