The Hillsboro Eighth Grade Leadership team recently had the opportunity to cap off their year with an adventurous end-of-year workshop at Hartje's Nature Center and Rope Course. This experience provided an opportunity for Hillsboro students to collaborate not only with their classmates but with leadership students from other area schools.
The day was filled with activities designed to foster teamwork and improve problem-solving skills. Students tackled the challenges of the rope course, navigating obstacles that required communication, trust, and collective effort. Beyond the physical demands, the workshop incorporated exercises that required strategic thinking and collaborative decision-making.
The workshop effectively concluded the Eighth Grade Leadership's year of fostering team and individual connection, growth, and support.
