On Tuesday, October 7th, select Hillsboro High School choir members traveled to UW-Platteville, where they joined the university choir and other high school honors choir members from across Southwestern Wisconsin.
The event is a convergence of musical talent, and offers high school honors choir students the opportunity to perform at the highest level in the region. Upon arrival, the choir is separated into bass and treble choirs. Both choirs sang four pieces of choral music directed by UW-Platteville choir directors.
Selections were practiced throughout the day, and the event concluded with a concert that also featured one selection from each of the five UW-Platteville choirs. Hillsboro students had a fantastic day making music, collaborating with choir members from other schools, and sharing their passion for music.
