Mr. Bothe was previously employed at Hillsboro Schools for sixteen years as a high school history teacher and at-risk coordinator before accepting a new opportunity in Clintonville, Wisconsin. During his tenure in Clintonville, Mr. Bothe juggled the demands of his roles as activities director and assistant principal. In 2018, Mr. Bothe took the position of high school principal at Westby, where he spent the past eight years supporting students and families.
Mr. Bothe rejoins Tiger Nation as our high school special education teacher and is excited to once again work directly alongside students.
When Mr. Bothe isn't in school, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Kara (a Hillsboro alumna), daughter, Brooklyn (a junior at Winona State), and son, Breyer (a junior at Hillsboro High).
