Spine Book Poetry Collage

Students from 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts created book spine poems reviewing theme, tone, and mood. 

Students selected book titles that flowed coherently together, produced a message or lesson (theme) they wanted their readers to come to, reflected upon their own attitude (tone) toward that message or lesson, and identified the emotional response of readers (mood). 

Students showed amazing creativity in their selections.
