On Monday, December 19, Yanula Nusse was recognized for her outstanding service by the Hillsboro School Board and district administration during the regular board meeting.
Nusse has been a valued district employee for over fourteen years, and transitioned to her current role as district registrar and MS/HS attendance officer at the beginning of 2022-2023 school year.
Most recently, Nusse worked to secure the Out of School Time Grant for the district. The district will receive funding of $185,000 to apply to after school programming that had been previously funded by the CCLC grant. These funds can be used between December 1, 2022 and September 30, 2024.
