The fifth grade leadership students planned and organized "Dom's 5 Days of Holiday Fun" last week (12/10-12/14)! Their goal was to raise money in support of Dominic Nusse, a former Hillsboro student who is currently battling cancer.
Days included:
Purple/Green Day (Buzz Lightyear colors)
Hat Day---pay $1 to wear a hat
PJ Day---pay $1 to wear pajamas in school
Free Time Day----bring a donation--if the class raised $.50 per student, they received 20 minutes of free time during the day
Popcorn Day---purchase a bag of popcorn for $1
#HSDGoTigers had a wonderful time supporting the Nusse family and were able to raise $1183 for them to use for whatever they need during this holiday season!
We all hope this brings a bit of holiday cheer to this very deserving family! #GivingBack
