Due to parking lot construction, we are asking families attending Freshmen Orientation at 6:30 tonight to park in the upper MS/HS parking lot and the elementary parking lot. You will be entering the building at the MS/HS office doors.

A link to 2020-2021 Online Registration was shared with district families today via email, please check your email to access and complete your yearly registration materials. You can contact the MS/HS office with questions (608) 489-2221.
An email has been sent to district families with a transportation survey we are asking all parent/guardians to complete by Monday, August 17th.

Band Camp Mon. 8/17- Thurs. 8/20 has been cancelled.
Mr. Bartsch would still like to meet with HS band students in a half-hour lesson, either online or in-person (most likely outside.) Please use the below link to sign up for a time.
HS band students should keep an eye on their emails over the next couple days for music. If students did not receive an email, they are currently not enrolled in the HS band course and should email Mr. Bartsch and Mrs. Sullivan.

NEW STAFF PROFILE | Hey Tigers, we need your help to officially welcome our new Elementary School Principal, Steven Christianson!
Steven is originally from Washburn, Wisconsin. He received his secondary Math Education Degree from UW-Stevens Point and his Educational Leadership and Administration Degree from UW-Oshkosh. His hobbies include woodworking 🔨, music 🎶 (Singing, Guitar, Ukulele, Drums), running, and playing tennis 🎾.
When asked why he is looking forward to working in Hillsboro, this is what he said:
“Hillsboro reminds me of my hometown. It has everything you need, but not too many people. Everybody knows and cares about the people they pass on the street. My dad was my Elementary School principal and I remember how big of a role school played in my life and my community. I look forward to working with this close-knit community that supports its schools and, more importantly, its students.”
