The USDA announced yesterday that effective immediately we can now offer free meals for all children 18 years of age and younger through December 31, 2020. The breakfast and lunch menus will be changed somewhat to reflect the new meal pattern. Any adults who eat will have to pay for their meals as usual.
Due to parking lot construction we are asking that students that drive to school enter at the MS/HS doors (near the office) tomorrow.
MS/HS Students who ride the bus will enter at the Middle School doors.

Fall Sports Announcement: After much discussion and thought, Hillsboro has decided to move forward with all fall sports in the regular fall season. Since the Scenic Bluffs Conference has moved football and volleyball to the alternative season in the spring, Hillsboro will be playing with Ridge and Valley Conference for football and volleyball only. Cross country will stay with the Scenic Bluffs Conference.
Full game and meet schedules will be released as soon as they are finalized.

Dear Hillsboro students/families,
As you may have noticed we are in the final stages of resurfacing our MS/HS parking lot. We were on target to finish the project before Sept. 1. Unfortunately, following a mechanical issue with the paver on Thursday and now the significant rainfall we are getting, we will not be able to have the MS/HS parking lot resurfaced in time for the first day of school. Therefore, students will have to park off-site for the first days of the 2020-21 school year. We will update students daily on when they will be able to use the parking lot.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
